COVID-19 forced us all to quickly shift our lifestyle and spend a considerable amount of time inside, and for me, most of that time was at my desk — a small, cheap, poorly built desk I had used since I was a young kid. I thought it would be a worthwhile endeavor to put together a desk that would bring me joy and give me the appropriate space and customizations to work for hours on end without feeling cramped.

For this build, I used furniture grade pine from Suwannee Lumber Company. For some of the thinner lumber that I used for the cabinetry, I struggled a little with warping, but I made it work and I think it ended up turning out alright 

This was my first woodworking project (and simultaneously my first woodworking video project), so it’s safe to say that I made tons of mistakes, but I learned from each one! The videos and woodworking both get better in future projects, I promise lol.
